We connect homeowners with qualified, insured, and vetted tradespeople ("tradies") who take on the renovation work directly. All renovation work is conducted by third-party businesses/tradespeople.

WEBSITE CONTENT: The information on our website (and in our email or SMS communications) is for general guidance only and should not be taken as specific building or renovation advice. We simply help connect you with tradies who match your project needs. You are under no obligation to use any of the tradies we send. The choice of who to hire remains 100% yours.

OUR WEBSITE: All material on our website is designed to help homeowners prepare for their project and connect with vetted tradies. We always recommend that homeowners compare multiple tradies before making a final decision.

OUR MATCHING PROCESS: Our recommendations are based on your project details submitted via form, phone, or online communication. You are responsible for choosing and engaging the tradie that suits your preferences, timeline, and budget. We always recommend interviewing and comparing at least two tradies when possible.

NO WARRANTIES: While we carefully vet the tradies we work with, we do not guarantee the quality, pricing, or outcomes of their work. All work, warranties, guarantees, and contracts are between the homeowner and the chosen tradie.

OUR ROLE: We act as a connector only. We do not guarantee that a tradie will accept every referral or be available at your desired time. Our team will always aim to match you with the best available tradie based on availability, location, and project fit.

YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THE TRADIE: We are not involved in any agreements or contracts you make with the tradie. We recommend seeking independent legal or professional advice before entering into any service agreement.

OUR SERVICES: My Reno Quotes does not guarantee a tradie will be a perfect match for your expectations. We help streamline the connection process by saving you time and sending qualified, pre-vetted options your way. What happens next is up to you.

INITIAL CONTACT: We may contact you by phone or email to confirm your inquiry details and to understand more about your project needs. If we’re unable to reach you after multiple attempts, we may allow a matched tradie to contact you directly to help move things forward.

PRIVACY: We respect your privacy. If you have asked us not to pass your details on or not to be contacted by a specific party, we will always honor that.

INFORMATION ACCURACY: While we do our best to keep our website and communications up to date and accurate, we make no guarantees about the completeness or reliability of the information presented.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: My Reno Quotes is not liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages that may arise from the use of our platform, referrals, or communication.

OUR SERVICE MODEL: We are a lead-generation platform helping homeowners connect with vetted tradies. We are not advisors, project managers, or contractors. Please do not ask us for building quotes, renovation pricing, or timelines — these will come directly from the tradie you choose to work with.

HOW WE GET PAID: We operate on a pay-per-quote model with our tradies. Tradies pay us a pre-agreed fee for every qualified lead we send them. We are not paid by homeowners, nor do we charge commissions based on renovation contracts or job values.

YOUR CONSENT: By submitting your contact details through our website (myrenoguotes.co.nz), you agree to be contacted by phone, SMS, or email to confirm your project details and eligibility.

REFUND POLICY: Due to the nature of our pay-per-quote service, all lead payments are non-refundable. However, we may offer lead replacement or credit at our discretion in the rare event of an invalid or unqualified lead. Requests for review must be submitted within 3 business days of receiving the lead.

GOVERNING LAW: These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising out of your use of our services shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted under New Zealand jurisdiction.

MODIFICATIONS: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

LEAD EXCLUSIVITY & DISTRIBUTION: Leads may be distributed to up to three tradies per job request. My Reno Quotes does not guarantee exclusive access unless agreed in writing.

PAYMENT TERMS (FOR TRADIES): By providing your payment details, you authorize My Reno Quotes to charge your card per qualified lead. Payment is processed upon delivery of the lead.

QUALIFIED LEAD DEFINITION: A qualified lead is defined as a homeowner who has confirmed their intent, project scope, and budget, and has agreed to receive quotes and/or an on-site visit.

CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS: If a homeowner cancels or no-shows, My Reno Quotes will assess the case. Lead replacement or credit may be issued at our discretion.

SERVICE SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we receive repeated negative feedback, detect misuse, or see breaches of this agreement.

MARKETING & MEDIA USE: By joining My Reno Quotes, you consent to the use of your business name, logo, and project photos in our marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing.

MARKETING CONTENT DISCLAIMER: Certain images and videos displayed on the My Reno Quotes website, social media platforms, and marketing materials are used under valid usage rights obtained from third-party creators, including professional videographers and photographers. These materials are provided strictly for the purpose of visual inspiration and do not necessarily depict renovation work completed by tradespeople affiliated with My Reno Quotes. My Reno Quotes does not claim that all visual content represents the work or services delivered by our partnered contractors or referred service providers. We encourage all users to request specific portfolios or examples of completed work from individual tradespeople during the quotation process, should verification of experience be required.
